Care for Civil Rights Organization is Uganda’s leading advocate for human rights and social justice. We provide legal aid to human rights victims, empower communities, eliminate gender-based violence, and champion climate justice and mental health support, ensuring the most vulnerable thrive.
To lead efforts in Uganda against human rights violations, supporting victims and confronting challenges to uphold justice and empower communities. We envision a Uganda where every individual’s rights are respected and protected.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive legal aid, advocacy, and support services to victims of human rights abuses, ensuring they receive the justice and protection they deserve.
Our priority areas include;
Providing legal aid to human rights victims.
Empowering communities through education and skills training.
Eliminating gender-based violence by supporting survivors and advocating for policy changes.
Championing climate justice through environmental initiatives.
Supporting mental health with counseling and outreach programs.
Advocating for the rights of vulnerable populations, including women, children, and marginalized groups in Uganda.
